About Worship & Weights

As we spent more time with Jesus, we began to feel a yearning to do more. We go to church, pray, give, volunteer but there was still that yearning. As we explored ideas to help, my wife came one day with a video about a gym that was worshipping and exercising, they were too far for us to join...but why not start one ourselves.

The cost of starting a gym, the commitment of time, and the expertise were intimidating and a little discouraging but...we still believed it was what we were supposed to do. So we prepared, my wife became Certified Personal Trainer, I became a Certified Nutrition Coach (I'm already a Licensed Chaplain) and now what?

In comes Samuel, the owner of Fitness Evolve, with a gym, time, and expertise. but...more importantly with a love for Jesus. My wife had been part of his gym community for a while, I just mingled, lol. So we told him about our idea and how maybe we can work together.

Guess what? God had also been working in his heart, he too felt a yearning, kinda like if the the Creator of the Universe knew what He was doing, of course He did. 

So now we partnered, maybe a little uneven, Samuel provides the place, equipment, fitness expertise, and we come up with the classes and events. In the end, we all have gifts and talents and you never know who has that other piece of the puzzle.

The exciting thing is that as we continue in our journey, more and more people are becoming part of that grand puzzle that only God knows how it's going to look.

In the meantime, we are excited, motivated, in love with Jesus Christ and we will continue to do His work sharing the good news, whether at the gym, at the street, or wherever that door opens to.
